- President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the industrialists and businessmen at the Ankara’s Bests Awards Ceremony at ATO Congresium. “Internal and external forces who could not otherwise stop Turkey are attacking our hopes; mobilizing the exchange rate; no threats nor hidden embargos will stop us; we are determined to foil this plot,” said President Erdoğan.

Erdoğan's comments are as follows:

“The Ankara Chamber of Commerce, which is of an age with the Republic, is one of the most important economic representatives of our country with its 157,000 members. Today, our chamber continues to lead entrepreneurs with the understanding that, 'You win, Turkey wins.’ Together with our business world, we have started mobilizing employment. Our goal for this year is to reach 2.5 million jobs. ATO promised us 220,000 jobs by the end of the year. As of now, it has provided 60,000 jobs. In the first three months of the year, we achieved a positive but insufficient employment growth. In the following years we expect a very serious increase. As the government, we offer various comprehensive incentives on employment. I invite all our businessmen to benefit from these incentives.”

- ATO President Gürsel Baran

ATO President Gürsel Baran pointed out that the capital has now become a city of trade and industry, taking over its identity as a government city. Stating that they have member companies conducting globally exemplary works , Baran said, “Founded by three METU graduate engineers, of which our Board is a partner, a company has implemented the Pharmaceutical Tracking System, a first in Turkey and the world. selected as one of the 5 best healthcare projects by the United Nations, the company is exporting it, bringing in foreign currency as well as working to export it to another 50 countries.”
