3rd Phase of 81 Academic Advisors to 81 Provinces begins

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu attended the Academic Advisor Information Meeting.​

Addressing the academic advisors, Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that the 81 Academic Advisors to 81 Provinces Project emerged due to the need for university - industry cooperation and providing information about the inception of the project.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that academic advisors would serve the Turkey's democratic institutions representing the Turkish entrepreneurs.

Noting that the way to achieve prosperity is through entrepreneurship, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the primary concern should always be the prosperity of the people and that the role of academic advisors is important for their careers, future generations, their provinces and Turkey.

Referring to the importance of women and young entrepreneurs, the TOBB President urged academics to take charge of women and young entrepreneurial boards in their provinces and to direct them.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the chamber / exchange presidents should have good dialogues with the governor, the mayor, the parliamentary representatives, unions and the non-governmental organizations in their provinces.

Reminding that academicians were selected through consensus of all Chambers - Commodity Exchanges in their respective provinces and districts, Hisarcıklıoğlu advised them to split their time among them equally.

After his speech, Hisarcıklıoğlu presented the Academic Advisors with TOBB lapel pins.
