Speaking at the ceremony, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his happiness for opening a workplace and said, “We must commend businesspeople. We must commend those who open new establishments. We must commend employers who provide jobs. We must not be ambivalent towards them. If a person is providing employment, paying taxes, we should be happy. That is the wealth of this country. Turkey has no oil. No natural gas. But Allah has given us an entrepreneurial spirit.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu conveying his best wishes and congratulations to Mehmet Bal, owner of the store and that they’ve been business neighbors with Mehmet Bal and his brothers since 1982, “When we look at the three brothers we can see that entrepreneurship is the only resource in Turkey's hands. It is the best example of how to make do with an absence of resources. Working with the smoothness and morality of the merchant who can say when we can give examples of the Honey family.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu said that ECA is a global brand and a first for Turkey in that it is governed by a foundation.

Stating that he has been acquainted with Nafi Gural since 1995, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that this a success story; having come from nothing to contribute to their homeland, being the head of a family which can be can be considered truly industrialists in Turkey.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Nafi Güral is a hero for Turkish entrepreneurship and said, “Imagine the chaos, the mood, the morale we lived through on July 15^th, 2016. Nafi Bey, the day after, at the Kütahya square, said ‘I will build a ceramic factory to provide jobs to our brothers and sisters in Kütahya.’ That's what a Turkish businessman does. We were together at the foundation laying of this factory. We conducted its opening of the President of the Republic.”

Ankara Chamber of Commerce Chairman Gürsel Baran pointed out that domestic and national products will be sold in the store, “Nowadays, we need to invest more than ever. We need to make more production, create jobs and create added value. We will endure these together. I find these investments very important. A time to take risks.”

NG Kütahya Chairman of the Board of Directors Erkan Gural said that such investments should not be slowed down in such a period. Let's not stop any of our investments. We will continue to work with this awareness.”

During the ribbon cutting, Hisarcıklıoğlu asked business people whether they supported the Fight Against Inflation Program. Güral also stated that they are among the companies which offer a 10 percent discount, “The fight against has started. We are also a part of this chain. I hope this positive approach will bring concrete results to our country's economy.”

After the speeches, the store was opened.
