The TOBB statement is as follows:

“TOBB Chairman Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee Turkey Wing visited Osmaniye on the day of the incident together with NGOs. Visiting Osmaniye Governor Ömer Faruk Coşkun at his office, they received information about the attack, followed by a visit to Osmaniye CCI Chair Devrim Murat Aksoy injured in the attack. Afterwards a condolatory visit was made to the family members of Osmaniye CCI Vice Chair Hasan Ersoy who lost his life during the attack.

This treacherous attack deeply upset the Turkish business world, TOBB and Chamber-Exchange community. The fact that the TOBB and Chamber-Exchange community has stood by the Osmaniye CCI immediately following the incident shows the unity and cohesion of our community in the most meaningful and strong way.

We, TOBB and the Chamber of Commodity Exchange community, condemn this treacherous attack. We are closely following the investigation carried out under the coordination of the Chief Public Prosecutor of Osmaniye. We believe that justice will be served. We are assured those who perpetrated this treacherous attack to receive their due punishment.”
