Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the working luncheon economic liaisons betweenTurkey-Egypt, “producer register system” that obstructs exportation to Egypt, commodity exchange practices in Turkey, port of entries, logistic services along with fruit and applications for vegetable wholesale markets in Turkey have been discussed. 

During the visit Egyptian delegation has also debriefed by Istanbul Commodity Exchange Market about commodity exchange practices in Turkey and practices in Halkalı Custom and logistic centre. Thereafter visiting Bayrampaşa Fruit and Vegetable Wholesale Market, delegation was briefed in relation with operation methods. Delegation also paid a visit to Istanbul Chamber of Commerce and expressed their condolences.

Following the working luncheon, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu had a meeting with Ahmet Al Wakil President of Federation of Trade, Industry and Agriculture Chambers of Egypt. During meeting Al Wakil invited Hisarcıklıoğlu to African-Arab Forum which shall take place on 3^rd – 4^th February 2018 in Cairo.

TOBB Vice President Ali Kopuz and Istanbul Arbitration Centre President of the Board Prof Ziya Akıncı İstanbul have also attended the working luncheon which took place in TOBB Service Building.
