Producing Turkey will speak; new incentives and support will be elaborated on

The “Producing Turkey Speaks” meetings will explain the incentives given by the government to the business world to entrepreneurs of 12 provinces. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that the government has taken new steps to support employment, trade, industry, agriculture; stating that they would like the whole business world to be aware of these and to benefit from them.​

The launch of “Producing Turkey Speaks” meetings was held at the TOBB Twin Towers. The meeting was attended by the Minister of Customs and Commerce Bülent Tüfenkci and TOBB, Hak-iş, TESK, Memur-Sen, TİSK, Türk-İş, Turkey Kamu-Sen, TZOB comprising Turkey-EU Joint Consultative Committee as well as directors and representatives of business community NGOs ASKON, MUSIAD, TIM, TÜGİAD, TÜGİK and TÜMSİAD.

 

“Producing Turkey Speaks” meetings will take place in Van, Eskisehir, Diyarbakir, Adana, Izmir, Samsun, Edirne, Antalya, Malatya, Bursa, Konya and Gaziantep.

 

TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the government has recently taken new steps to support agriculture, employment, trade and industry, “However, many of our members, our citizens, are unaware of the support and new incentives provided. Our state provides incentives, but there are not many applications which leaves much of available resources underutilized. Here we are launching a new campaign to provide this information.”

Customs and Trade Minister Bulent Tüfenkci stated in his speech at the launch meeting that they were looking for the answer to the question, “How can we produce more?” Tüfenkci, stating that they consult with citizens at every step, said that they’ve brought many new incentives to the economy and business world. However, there is not enough awareness in regards to these improvements, measures and incentives. Minister Tüfenkci said, “We will go to the producers' doors with the Producing Turkey Speaking Project and inform them.”
