“Education is the determining criteria in the future of a country. If a country has set itself the goal of becoming one of the largest economies in the world, one of the largest powers; if it desires to pull ahead in the race of civilization, it must provide its children with the highest quality of education. Teachers are the ones who will make this possible.

The success of our teachers is the brightness of our future.

It is difficult to disagree with the sentiment that ‘There is no profession no more honorable or beautiful than that of teaching.’ As the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, we have endeavored to support education at every level from elementary up.

We’ve established the TOBB University of Economy and Technology. Because we believe that we can only exist with proper education.

As businessmen, we know that there can never be any losses when investing in education or educators. The value we give our teachers is the value we deem our country and ourselves worthy.

It is with these thoughts and feelings that I, on behalf of the Turkish business community, that I celebrate the November 24^th Teachers day and extend the gratitude and respect of our community.”
