“We’ve fulfilled our promise to Karaman for a science high school”

TOBB Karaman Science High School was opened with a ceremony attended by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, Minister for Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Lütfü Elvan, TOBB Board Members Selçuk Öztürk and Memiş Kütükcü as well as the Karaman Governor Murat Koca.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, during his speech at the opening ceremony, reminded those present of their promise to build Karaman a science high school and said, “Praise Allah, we’ve fulfilled our promise. The school is a complete complex with a gym and all relevant facilities. We weren’t alone when making this investment. Minister Lütfi Elvan, who through his successes, stance and character has gained to respect of the country has provided great support. He has been with us whenever we needed him.”

 

Hisarcıklıoğlu went on to point out that no investment in education has been a loss and went on to extend his thanks to the Minister.

 

Expressing his view that the school will the leaders of the country’s future, Hisarcıklıoğlu suggested that the name of the school be changed to Karaman TOBB Lütfi Elvan Science School.

Minister for Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Lütfü Elvan stated that the province is quite successful in regards to education having placed first in many university exams.

 

Pointing out that they greatly prioritize education, Minister Elvan reported that they had worked together with TOBB to build this school and many others throughout the country.
