Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

During the meeting which took place at the European Parliament, the 2015 Global Economic Report prepared by EUROCHAMBRES with TOBB’s contributions was discussed.

Presiding over the meeting was EUROCHAMBRES Global Chamber Platform President and EUROCHAMBRES Honorary President Christoph Leitl.

Represented at the meeting were Latin American CCO, US Chamber, Russian CCO, Australia CCO, CACCI and the Chinese Council for the Development of International Trade.

Speaking at the meeting, M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu relayed his views on the global economy and Turkey’s economy, spoke in regards to B20 Turkey priorities.

Hisarcıklıoğlu, in response to Australian MP Dr. Paul Rübig’s question, criticized EU’s energy policy and requested that the energy chapters be opened in Turkey’s EU negotiations.
