President Erdoğan received representatives of the business World and syndicates

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, along with representatives of the business world and syndicates, paid a congratulatory visit to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are sure that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will continue to serve Turkey admirably as he did during his time as Prime Minister.”​

Following the visit to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and representatives of the business world and syndicates held a meeting with members of the press.

 

Stating that they have paid a congratulatory visit to the President of the Republic of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan as the vocational and non-governmental organizations and syndicate federations, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We represent the workers, entrepreneurs, craftsman and public servants. We represent members from all views and creeds. We all work to carry Turkey forward.”

 

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that, for the first time, the President of the Republic has been elected by popular vote on August 10th, “This was a very important and critical election. Keeping in mind the stability of the process, we are greatly pleased that it has been completed in a peaceful manner.

 

We are sure that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will continue to serve Turkey admirably as he did during his time as Prime Minister. May it prove beneficial to our entire nation.”

Answering a question on whether the work accident which took place in Mecidiyeköy recently came up during the meeting, Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that their visit was a courtesy visit.

 

Reporting that a meeting with the Turkey Workers’ Syndicates Confederation (Türk-İş) President Ergün Atalay, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoğlu and Labor Minister Faruk Çelik on Friday would focus on this matter, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Most of this delegation will also be present there. We will be holding meetings with the Labor Minister and the Prime Minister.”

 

Present among the delegation which visited President Erdoğan were representatives of TOBB, TESK, Türk-İş, Hak-İş, TİSK, Memur-Sen, Kamu-Sen, TURSAB, TÜSİAD, TİM, MÜSİAD, TÜMSİAD, ASKON and TURKONFED.
