In a message regarding Koşmaz’s passing, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We are greatly saddened by the passing of one of the most respected members of our community, a most valued businessman, TOBB Former Board of Directors Vice President and Manisa Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chamber Board President Bülent Koşmaz. I pray for the grace of Allah upon his soul and extend my condolences to his family, loved ones and the business community.”

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Koşmaz held the offices of TOBB Treasurer and Board Vice President between 2000-2013, undertaking great endeavors for Turkey’s economy and the TOBB community.

Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Mr. Koşmaz’s name, like all other people who created added value for the economy, provided employment and sustenance for people, will live on in the hearts of the people. I share the pain felt by his family, loved ones and the whole business community. May Allah rest his soul; May heaven be his abode.”

Bülent, born in Manisa in 1951, was married and a father of two children.
