The heinous attack in NiÄŸde has aggrieved us all

Stating that the martyring of two security personnel and a citizen in a heinous attack which took place in Niğde has aggrieved the hearts of the nation, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu expressed his sadness.​
Hisarcıklıoğlu said in his statement:
“We have learned to our great chagrin that while attempting to stop a vehicle reported to be loaded with explosives in the Eminlik route of Niğde, our security forces were fired upon, resulting in the death of a police officer and a soldier as well as a civilian.
It is the shared view of all conscientious individuals that these vile attacks can never serve any goal and will remain as a dark stain in history.
On behalf of the Turkish business community, I present my condolences to the families and loved ones as well as our whole nation of the martyrs.
