In his speech there, Öztürk emphasized that they view education as one of the most fundamental elements of Türkiye’s development and economic growth.
Noting that language is not merely a means of communication but also the carrier of thought, the transmitter of culture, and one of the strongest elements of civilization, Öztürk stated that thought shapes an individual’s capacity to understand, interpret, and transform the world.
Noting that the
relationship between language and thought is a subject that has been discussed
and philosophized about for centuries, Yelkenci stated that nations can resolve
many issues once they understand this relationship.
At the congress, Cengiz Mete, Director General of Secondary Education at the Ministry of National Education, and Metin Özer, Chairman of the TOBB Türkiye Education Council, also delivered speeches.
