Transit Document Distribution Offices Information and Consultation Meeting

The transit document allocation procedures are carried out by the distribution offices affiliated to the Chambers and Commodity Exchange authorized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB). In order to ensure that the distribution of the transit documents is carried out effectively, efficiently and in accordance with the rules, training, information and consultation meetings are held for the distribution office officers in certain periods.​
In this context, the meeting for the personnel of the distribution office operating at the border gates where the transports to the Russian Federation and the Caucasus and Central Asian countries are carried out was held via video conference method under the coordination of the International Transit Document Directorate.
At the meeting, while informing the distribution office officials about the instructions in addition to the Directive on the Principles of Distribution of Transit Documents published by the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and the latest developments, especially the Russian Federation-Ukraine crisis, opinions were exchanged in order to maintain the distribution processes in a healthy way.
