ADR awareness training for Pakistan Delegation

Under the leadership of the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure and hosted by TOBB, with the support of the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), the Convention on the International Transport of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) awareness training was organized for Pakistani public and private sector representatives and field work was carried out.
The Pakistani delegation consisted of transport company executives headed by Shahbaz Latif MIRZA, Director of Road Transport at the Ministry of Communications, and Chief Khizer JAVED, ADR officer at the same Ministry.
Representatives of the relevant Ministries gave information about our country's processes of becoming a party to ADR and implementing it, and basic ADR training was organized by TOBB Transportation and Logistics Systems Department.
In addition, field work was carried out at a roadside inspection station, a vehicle inspection center and a vehicle testing and inspection center under ADR. As a result of the visit, an agreement was reached on the further development of the technical capacity and experience sharing of the relations between the two countries.
