Of the 3,540 capacity report approved in May, 1000 were in Istanbul, 269 in Ankara, 234 in Ä°zmir, 173 in Bursa, 158 in Konya, 154 in Kocaeli, 123 in Gaziantep, 93 in TekirdaÄŸ, 92 in Manisa and 82 in Adana.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database decreased by 112 units (-0.1%) to 81,012 units from 81,124 in May 2020.

According to the Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased by 58,932 (1.8%) from 3,320,430 in May 2020 to 3,379,362 in May 2021.

Capacity reports are compiled by local Chambers and approved by TOBB for: utilization of bench, device, machine and motive force in processing raw materials, semi-and complete products, property, content, composition or shape in full or in part; for businesses that produce a new product in serial or standard, and for those who operate and operate underground resources and produce software with information technology.
