TOBB Board Member Öztürk Oran reminded that Turkey's Sector Councils have been operating since 2006 and stressed that councils are the platform which bring public, private and sectoral NGOs together on a legal basis. Oran stated that every problem submitted to TOBB from chamber-exchanges and sector assemblies during the pandemic process was followed up with the relevant Ministries and emphasized that the process is dynamic and that these difficult days will be overcome in unity.

Abdi Ä°brahim Pharmaceuticals Ind. Co. Inc. Chairman of the Board of Directors Nezih Barut was elected Council President, Nobel Pharmaceuticals Ind. Co. Inc. Chairman of the Board of Directors Hasan UÄŸur Ulusoy was elected as Council Vice President.

Speaking after the election, Council President Nezih Barut and Council Vice President Hasan Uğur Ulusoy stated that they will work to further the sector and solve the problems under TOBB’s roof in the coming period.
