The number of capacity reports approved in the first 8 months of 2020 (27,614 units) decreased by 3.5% (1,012 units) compared to the first 8 months of 2019 (28,626).

Of the 3,370 capacity reports approved in August; 894 were in Istanbul, 266 in Ankara, 249 in Izmir, 224 in Bursa, 152 in Konya, 116 in Kocaeli, 113 in Gaziantep, 84 in Adana, 80 in TekirdaÄŸ, 71 in Kayseri.

The total number of active capacity reports in the TOBB Industrial Database increased by 2.8% (2,074 units) to 76,424 in August 2020 from 74,350 in August 2019.

According to Active Capacity Reports, the total number of employees increased from 3,148,454 in August 2019 to 2.2% (69,363 units) in August 2020 to 3,217,817.
