Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Council Members Information Seminar, which covers February 17-18, 2024, started at TOBB Twin Towers. TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz, in his speech at the opening of the seminar, wished the participants success and stated that information about the institutional structure and affiliates of TOBB will be given in the seminar. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Patent and Trademark Attorneys Council visited Ferhat Topkaya, Vice President of the Competition Authority, in his office to discuss sectoral issues. ​

TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council Marmara Regional Meeting was hosted by Kocaeli Chamber of Industry and chaired by Nurcan Babalık, Regional Representative and TOBB Kocaeli Women Entrepreneurs Council (KGK) President.​

Within the scope of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, New Accreditation Standard Training was organized at TOBB on 12-13 February 2024 in order to review the standard requirements for the Chambers / Exchanges whose accreditation system development visit was completed until 8 December 2023.​

German Marshall Fund Vice President and Brussels Office Director Ian Lesser and German Marshall Fund Ankara Office Director Özgür Ünlühısarcıklı visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz and Deputy Secretary General Ali Emre Yurdakul. ​

The first TOBB Young Entrepreneurs Council Eastern Anatolia Regional Meeting was held on February 9, 2024, hosted by Van Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the participation of the regional provincial presidents.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Board Member Cengiz Günay attended the From National Defense to National Development - Women of Türkiye's Century Women's Employment System Business-Positive promotion program organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security. ​

Balıkesir and Çanakkale Provincial and District Chambers / Exchanges and Secretaries General Consultation Meeting was held at TOBB Twin Towers.​

Şekib Avdagiç, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Türkiye-Qatar Business Forum organized in cooperation with TOBB and DEIK. Before the Business Forum, Şekib Avdagiç met with Sheikh Al Thani, President of Qatar Chamber of Commerce. ​

The Road Passenger Transportation Activities Sectoral Consultation Meeting was hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in cooperation with the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure with the participation of public, private sector and non-governmental organizations at TOBB Twin Towers.​
