Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The Joint Board meeting of the Turkish-TRNC Chamber of Commerce Forum was co-chaired by TOBB Board Member and Co-Chairman of the Turkish Side M. Cihat Lokmanoğlu and Co-Chairman of the TRNC Side Alp Cengiz Alp.​

Under the coordination of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Ministry of Commerce, the Export Support Offices established in 67 chambers in 56 provinces were given FTA Advisory Points training seminar via Video Conference method.​

Within the scope of the Chamber/Stock Exchange Accreditation System efforts, Strategic Planning and Risk Management trainings for 1st, 2nd, 5th, 7th, 10th, 13th and 14th Term Accredited Chambers/Exchanges were carried out via video conference.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Accreditation Council, which is responsible for the execution of the Chamber/Commodity Exchange Accreditation System, convened via video conference on 07.05.2020 under the chairmanship of Council President Faik Yavuz.​

The Memorandum of Understanding for the establishment of the “Turkey-Bulgaria Chamber of Commerce and Industry Forum” was signed by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) and the Bulgarian-Turkish Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BULTİŞAD).​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Automotive Industry Council Meeting was held via video conference, chaired by TOBB Board Member assigned to the Council, Davut Çetin and Council President Cengiz Eroldu.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Petroleum and Petroleum Products Industry Council met via video conference to address the problems of the sector under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil and Ahmet Erdem.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Turkey Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) Council met via video conference to address the problems of the sector under the chairmanship of TOBB Board Member Engin Yeşil and Gökhan Tezel.​

At the Eastern Mediterranean Regional Meeting of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Councils held via video conference, economic measures against the Coronavirus outbreak as well as the effects of the disease on the provinces of the region were discussed.​

In accordance with Article 63 of the Public Procurement Law No. 4734, 1,041 Domestic Property Certificates were approved by TOBB in April 2020, according to the Domestic Goods Communiqué (SGM 2014/35), which was prepared by the Ministry of Industry and Technology and published in the Official Gazette dated September 13, 2014 and numbered 29118.​
