TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, attended the live broadcast on NTV and emphasized the importance of the Ability'10 Specialized Vocational Training Centers (UMEM) Project. Hisarcıklıoğlu defined Turkey's most important problem as lack of profession and said “I want to announce this not only to employers but also labor unions. We should realize this as a great project. We aim people to gain profession and jobs with this project. There is no such a big project that will be useful to people.”

The unemployment problem will be solved by Ability’10 UMEM Project
During Ability’10 Specialized Vocational Training Centers (UMEM) project’s introductory meeting that was held in Istanbul, M.Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu the President of TOBB pointed out that the main reason of the unemployment was the lack of profession. Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasizing the project as the biggest and most concrete project that has been realized so far said “We’ve been a hope for more than 20 thousand unemployed. There are more than 2 thousand companies in the selected 19 provinces that have accepted to take part in this project. In addition to this, we have taken more than 20 thousand demands from these companies. We aim to employ 1 million people in 5 years.”

Invitation from Celal Talabani, President of Iraq, to TOBB
Celal Talabani, President of Iraq, invited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchnages of Turkey (TOBB) to Iraq, stating that they demand more investment from Turkey. M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK) and TOBB, told about the bilateral meetings he made with Pakistan's president, Asif Ali Zerdari, Kırghizistan’s President, Roza Ottunbayeva and with Tayland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Kasit Piromiya, within the framework of their visit to Turkey on the occasion of 12th ECO Head of States Summit.

There are several things to be done in this sector
Ender Yorgancılar, Board Member of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) speaking at the 2nd Loss Adjusters Congress stated that although Turkish economy is the 16th biggest in the world, the sector ranks 36th which which causes dismay. He added “there are several things to be done in this sector”.

We must bring the operation of the system to a level suitable for the 21st Century
TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in an award ceremony organised by the Edremit Chamber of Commerce (ETO), noted the presence of bureaucratic difficulties. Hisarcıklıoğlu, who pointed out that there were faults of the way the system operated, suggested that there is a need for the system to be brought to a level suitable for the 21st Century.

Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, in his speech at the awards ceremony “Leaders of the Business World 2010” and “Yalova Innovation 2010” organised by the Yalova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (YTSO) at the Thermalium Hotel in Termal, said that Turkey is among the most quickly recovered countries of the 2009 crisis. “Turkey is shining again. Turkey’s aircraft is in the take-off" Hisarcıklıoğlu said.
