The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz participated in the “Industry 4.0 and the Future of Unions,” program organized by Turkey Kamu-Sen in Ankara.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Turkey Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing Council Meeting was held at the TOBB Union Center with the attendances of TOBB Board Member Mehmet Büyüksimitci, State Supply Office Director General Mücahit Civriz, Public Procurement Agency Vice President Murat İlbars and Council President Kutlu Karavelioğlu. ​

As a part of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Accreditation Trainings are continuing with “Strategic Planning Training.”​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz attended the Turkey Central Bank's Extraordinary General Meeting. ​

The number of newly established companies and cooperatives decreased by 9,41% and 9,57% while the number of sole proprietorships increased by 49,24% according to the previous month.​

Under the leadership of the Union Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), strengthening the social and economic position of women through the necessary knowledge and skills as well as their participation in economic life to ensure their active role in economic development, in cooperation with the Habitat Association, Coca-Cola Turkey and Istanbul Technical University, My Sister Project is underway. My Sister Project, which provided access to finance, IT, communication and entrepreneurship training to 9000 women in 30 provinces in 2018 continues in 2019.​

As a part of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Accreditation Trainings are continuing on January 14-15 on “ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System.” The training aimed at Accredited Chamber / Exchange Secretaries General and Accreditation Officers, the ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Management System was explained with sample applications in line with Accreditation Standard expectations. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Board Treasurer Faik Yavuz Turkey's newly appointed Ambassador to Manila, Artemiz Sümer. During the meeting, trade and economic relations between Turkey and the Philippines were discussed and Sümer was informed regarding TOBB’s various activities. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) Vice President Selçuk Öztürk attended the Building Contracting Industry meeting hosted at the Ministry of Environment and Urban Planning under the auspices of Minister Murat Kurum. During the meeting attended by the representatives of the leading non-governmental organizations of the sector views were exchanged regarding “Construction Contractors Registrations” and “Regulation on Construction Site Chiefs and Authorized Certified Masters”. ​

As a part of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System efforts, hosted by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), accreditation trainings, which will be taking place intensively in January and February, are continuing with the “Risk Management Training” on January 10th. In the training organized for the General Secretary and Accreditation Officers of the Accredited Chambers, Risk Management was matched with the expectations of the Accreditation Standards and explained with sample applications. ​
