Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

The 61st General Assembly of the Economic Development Foundation (IKV) was held at TOBB İstanbul Service Building.​

Banu Küçükel, the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Healthcare Services Council President, visited Assoc. Dr. Eren Usul, Director General of General Health Insurance, at his office.​

Strategic Planning / Business Plans Risk Management Training was organized at TOBB on 7-8 August 2023 for the 4th, 6th, 9th, 12th Term accredited Chambers / Exchanges within the scope of the Chamber / Exchange Accreditation System.​

Pursuant to the Insurance Law No. 5684, the Insurance Agents Sector Council election was held on 31.07.2023 at the TOBB Headquarters. Provincial Delegates of more than 300 Insurance Agents from all over Türkiye determined the members of the sector council of 40 people who will serve for 4 years.​

Selçuk Öztürk, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the 2nd Term Economy and Consultation Meeting of the Year 2023 under the chairmanship of Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz. ​

Seyit Ardıç, Member of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), participated in the Economy, Trade, Technology and Energy in the Turkish Century Panel organized within the scope of the 14th Ambassadors Conference organized with the theme “Our Foreign Policy in the Turkish Century.”​

In July 2023, the number of domestic goods certificates approved increased by 42.4% compared to the same period last year.​

Within the scope of the 14th Ambassadors Conference, Turkish Ambassador to Vientiane (Laos) Orhan Işık visited the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) and met with TOBB Secretary General Mustafa Saraçöz. During the meeting, Ambassador Işık gave information about energy projects and potential cooperation areas in Laos. ​

The number of capacity reports approved by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) in July 2023 increased by 20.7% (675) compared to July 2022 (3,257) and reached 3,932.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Cosmetics and Hygiene Products Industry Council visited the Director General of Public Health Prof. Dr. Sedat Kaygusuz in his office.​
