Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey

Ali Kopuz, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the opening ceremony of the 39th Ministerial Meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Standing Committee for Economic and Commercial Cooperation (COMCEC) held at the İstanbul Congress Center under the chairmanship of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. ​

Şekib Avdagiç, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), attended the Türkiye-Saudi Arabia Business Council Joint Round Table Meeting held in İstanbul with the participation of Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat.​

Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Kisuule, Senior Ambassador of Uganda to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senior Advisor to the President, who is the organizer of this year's East African Business and Investment Fair, which will be held as a side event within the scope of the 3rd Southern Summit, which will be held on the margins of the Non-Aligned Movement and the G-77 summits, was hosted by Uganda Ambassador to Ankara Nusura Omar Tiperu and Head of the Department of Türkiye Desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uganda, TOBB Board of Directors Treasurer Member Faik Yavuz. During the meeting, investment opportunities and the details of the East Africa Business and Investment Fair were discussed. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Chamber/Exchange Council Members Information Seminar, covering the days of December 02-03, 2023, started at TOBB Twin Towers.​

Ali Kopuz, Vice President of the Board of Directors of TOBB, represented the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) at the Türkiye-EU High Level Agriculture Dialogue Meeting held in Brussels.​

Şekib Avdagiç, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), met with Sergey Katyrin, President of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting was also attended by Vladimir Emmer, Representative of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Türkiye. ​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Cosmetics and Hygiene Products Industry Council Meeting was held at TOBB Istanbul Service Building under the chairmanship of Ahmet Pura, Chairman of the Council with the participation of Cengiz Günay, Member of the Board of Directors of TOBB, with the intense interest of senior representatives of the private sector, public and non-governmental organizations.​

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) Real Sector R&D and Implementation Department visited Prof. Dr. Muhammed Zeki Durak, President of the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office.​

Faik Yavuz, Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB), was received by the President of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Muizzu at the Çankaya Mansion. During the meeting, issues of strengthening bilateral trade and investment relations were discussed. ​

Within the scope of the Registry Academy Project, which is carried out in cooperation with TOBB and the Ministry of Trade, General Directorate of Domestic Trade in order to ensure unity of practice and increase the service quality of trade registry directorates, the joint meeting of the sub-workgroups formed regarding the Trade Registry Practices Handbook module was held under the chairmanship of Dr. Ahmet Can Balak, Deputy General Directorate of Domestic Trade, and hosted by TOBB on 24-25.11.2023.​
