The residents of İstanbul spoke at the Constitution Citizens Meeting. TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that İstanbul is a mosaic of Turkey and that the results from this city would reflect the big picture.

Erzurum discusses the constitution for a better future
Speaking at the constitution meeting held in Erzurum where citizens expressed their views, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu said that, in order to reach its goals, Turkey must instate a new constitution, “The present system limits the potential of the people.”

We must design our constitution with a sense of responsibility for the future generations in mind
Gaziantep discussed the new constitution. Stating that the tailor will be the people themselves, Hisarcıklıoğlu said “We must design our constitution with a sense of responsibility for the future generations in mind. You, constitution volunteers, should be the fundamental elements of this process. I will say it clearly: Turkey will have difficulty moving forward with a constitution which is often changed, its spirit stuck between the sovereignty of the people and the elite. The present constitution no longer fits this body.”

We must implement the new constitution in order to reach our goals
Trabzon discussed the new constitution. Emphasizing that they have set up great goals for the year 2023, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “We will make every citizen of this country rich, we will increase the per capita income to 25,000 Dollars. Every citizen of this country will live in equal standards with those of the European Union.”
