Hisarcıklıoğlu met with council members at information seminar

The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu met with council members at the Chamber / Exchange Councilor Briefing Seminar.
Stating that the council members are in Turkey's democratic institution, Hisarcıklıoğlu said that they are elected and that this bestows certain responsibilities unto them, emphasizing that their duty is to protect the rights and interests of their members.
Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “The most beneficent of people is he who is beneficent unto others,” and pointed out that the council members are in positions where they would be most beneficial to people and asked them to solve the problems of their members and produce solutions. The TOBB President said, “How joyous if you can create a job for even a single person. Know the value of this well.”
Hisarcıklıoğlu asked the councilors not to alienate others because of their political opinion, sect, ethnic origin, different ideas; urging them to discuss ideas and to accept what the common mind dictates, “Grace and prosperity in unity; anguish in dissent.”
