Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that Manisa is a very lucky city in terms of agriculture and animal husbandry.

Hisarcıklıoğlu pointed out that in the future, agriculture and livestock will be the gold profession. The world population increases each year an amount equal to the population of Turkey with 160 million people transitioning from low- to medium-income.

The TOBB President stated that Turkey is the seventh in the world in terms of arable land, stressing the need to make the best use of available resources.

According to the trends of the last decade, the products with the highest price increases are food, agriculture and livestock products. Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the most important job of the future will be agriculture and animal husbandry.

Pointing out that Manisa Commodity Exchange is a 5-star accredited commodity exchange, Hisarcıklıoğlu said, “Manisa serves the same standard as a commodity market which you would find in most developed countries in the world.”

Manisa Commodity Exchange Chairman Sadık Özkasap provided information about the recent endeavors they have undertaken as the commodity exchange.
