TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu visited the olive oil market as a part of his Ayvalık itinerary and toured the booths. Hisarcıklıoğlu received information about the products hosted by Ayvalık Mayor Rahmi Gencer, taking souvenir photographs with the attendees.​

TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu then visited Ayvalık Mayor Rahmi Gençer at his office. Hisarcıklıoğlu presented a Book of Dede Korkut to Gencer during the visit in which they engaged in an exchange of views. Gençer presented the TOBB President with a gift to commemorate the occasion.
